What Is GO Fest Global 2026?
Pokémon GO’s 10th anniversary event is the biggest Global GO Fest in history — and for the first time ever, it’s completely free. No ticket purchase needed. Every trainer who logs in during the event weekend gets full access to Special Research, Shiny boosts, and all event bonuses.
The two headliners this year are the global debut of Mega Mewtwo X and Mega Mewtwo Y, plus the first-ever encounter with Zeraora via Special Research.
For spoofers using iFlowGo, this event is a goldmine. You can hit every hourly habitat window, chase region-locked raids, and farm Mega Mewtwo energy across both forms — all without leaving home.

iFlowGo Tip: Raid bosses rotate alongside the habitats. If you’re targeting a specific legendary, check which habitat it belongs to and time your location jump accordingly.
⚔️ Raids — The Main Event
Super Mega Raids (New in 2026)
This year introduces “Super Mega Raids” — the hardest raid tier in the game. They drop exclusive Mega Energy and are split across the two days.
| Day | Super Mega Boss | Energy Reward | Featured Move |
|---|---|---|---|
| Saturday July 11 | Mega Mewtwo X | Mewtwo Mega Energy X | Counter (Fast Attack) |
| Sunday July 12 | Mega Mewtwo Y | Mewtwo Mega Energy Y | Psystrike (Charged Attack) |
Every Mewtwo caught from a Super Mega Raid comes with at least 1 Mega Level already unlocked — you can Mega Evolve it immediately at no extra energy cost. Lucky drops come pre-loaded at Mega Level 2 or 3.
Note: Counter and Psystrike are both meta-relevant moves. If you want both on a single Mewtwo, you’ll need an Elite TM later. For now, farm one of each and you’re already set.
Region-Locked Raids
These Pokémon only appear in raids within their assigned region. Use iFlowGo to jump to the right location.
| Pokémon | Region |
|---|---|
| Uxie | Asia-Pacific |
| Mesprit | Europe, Middle East, Africa |
| Azelf | Americas & Greenland |
| Kartana | Northern Hemisphere |
| Celesteela | Southern Hemisphere |
| Stakataka | Eastern Hemisphere |
| Blacephalon | Western Hemisphere |
| Buzzwole | Americas & Greenland |
| Pheromosa | Europe, Middle East, Africa, India |
| Xurkitree | Asia-Pacific |
🌟 Zeraora — How to Get It
Zeraora makes its global Pokémon GO debut at this event via Special Research. Log in anytime during July 11–12 and the research is automatically added to your account. It does not expire, so you can complete it at your own pace after the event.
One important note: you only receive one Zeraora encounter total, no matter how many GO Fest research stories you’ve collected across in-person and global events.

📍 Best Coordinates for Spoofers

| Location | Coordinates | Best For |
|---|---|---|
| 🇳🇿 Auckland, New Zealand | 36.8485, 174.7633 | Asia-Pacific raids (Uxie, Xurkitree), early timezone start |
| 🇧🇷 São Paulo, Brazil (Ibirapuera) | 23.5505, 46.6333 | Americas raids (Azelf, Buzzwole, Blacephalon), insane lobby fill speed |

| 🇺🇸 Chicago, USA (Grant Park) | 41.8835, 87.6296 | Americas raids, familiar GO Fest in-person venue layout |
How to use this table: Pick your starting location based on which region-locked Pokémon you want first. After your cooldown, jump to the next region. Full cross-globe jumps require ~2 hours cooldown — plan your route before the event starts.
⏱️ Cooldown Reference
| Jump Distance | Wait Time |
|---|---|
| Same city / short move | 2 – 5 minutes |
| Within same country | 15 – 30 minutes |
| Different continent | ~2 hours |
Always wait out your cooldown before catching, spinning, or raiding. iFlowGo users can use the built-in cooldown timer to track this automatically.
📋 Pre-Event Checklist
Get this done before July 11:
- [ ] Clear Pokémon storage — aim for 200+ free slots
- [ ] Clear item bag — you need room for Raid Passes and Balls
- [ ] Stock up: Poké Balls, Great Balls, Ultra Balls, Berries
- [ ] Prepare Raid counter teams:
- Mega Mewtwo X (Fighting/Psychic): bring Chandelure, Mewtwo, Lucario
- Mega Mewtwo Y (Psychic): bring Shadow Gengar, Darkrai, Giratina
- [ ] Check existing Mewtwo in your storage — they can now Mega Evolve
- [ ] Decide which Mega form you want first: X (Counter) or Y (Psystrike)?
- [ ] Plan your Region Hop route using the coordinates table above
- [ ] Set up iFlowGo cooldown timer before the event starts
🧠 Day-by-Day Strategy
Saturday, July 11 — Farm Mega Mewtwo X
10 AM – 1 PM | Stormfire Peaks (Ice/Electric/Fire) Start in a high-density location. Shiny check all spawns. Strong targets this hour include Electric-types and Fire-types with good PVP relevance.
1 PM – 4 PM | Astral Tides (Psychic/Ghost/Water) One of the best habitat windows. Psychic and Ghost types include several meta picks. Keep Incense active and stay on the move between Gyms.
4 PM – 7 PM | Dragonflight Summit (Flying/Rock/Dragon) Dragon-type spawns are always solid for XL Candy. Raid rotation shifts to Flying and Dragon-type bosses this hour.
All day priority: Save your 9 free Raid Passes for Mega Mewtwo X Super Mega Raids. Don’t burn passes on regular 5-Stars unless you’re specifically hunting something.
Sunday, July 12 — Farm Mega Mewtwo Y + Region Hop
10 AM – 1 PM | Earthforged Domain (Ground/Steel/Normal) Good for Steel-type XL farming. Check Shiny Normal-types during this window.
1 PM – 4 PM | Verdant Anomaly (Poison/Bug/Grass) Grass and Bug types tend to have underrated Shiny pools. Worth actively checking during this window.
4 PM – 7 PM | Twilight Battlefield (Dark/Fairy/Fighting) Strong ending to the event. Dark and Fairy-type spawns include several high-value targets. Use remaining Passes on Mega Mewtwo Y raids.
Region Hop Route (recommended):
- Auckland / Tokyo → Asia-Pacific content (Uxie, Xurkitree, Kartana)
- (cooldown) → Zaragoza / Paris → European content (Mesprit, Pheromosa)
- (cooldown) → São Paulo → Americas content (Azelf, Buzzwole, Blacephalon)
- (cooldown) → Honolulu → extend your final habitat window if needed
💡 Final Tips
Don’t skip the Timed Research. The branching choice between Mega Mewtwo X and Y gives you bonus Mega Energy for your chosen form. Pick the one you’re raiding less.
Shiny check manually during habitats. The boosted rate applies to all habitat spawns. Autocatch will miss Shinies — at least glance at your encounter screen during habitat hours.
Global Challenges matter beyond GO Fest. Completing them unlocks Ultra Unlock events after the festival ends. These post-event bonuses can include rare Pokémon and special raids.
Zeraora doesn’t expire — grab it during the event, complete the research whenever.
Party Play gives stacking bonuses — if you’re playing with friends or running multiple devices, Party Power amplifies your Shiny rate even further on top of the event boost.
